Privacy policy

Le dossard does not send any personal data to the developer.

In short

The game Le dossard does not collect or send any personal data to the developer. It has no user account, no advertising, no audience measurement and no ad tracking. Your careers stay on your device.

1. Data controller

Publisher of the app and the website: Jacky BÉJEAN EI, sole trader based in France (a personal project, unrelated to its author’s current employer). Full details are in the legal notice (in French).

Contact: contact@jackybejean.app, for any question about this policy and to exercise your rights.

2. Data collected by the app

None.

The app asks for no sign-up, no identifier and no email address. It does not access your location, your contacts, your camera, your microphone, your photos, or your health or fitness data. It contains no analytics kit, no advertising network, no behavioural analysis tool, and no third-party statistics or crash reporting service.

It does not use Apple’s advertising identifier (IDFA) and therefore never shows the tracking permission request (App Tracking Transparency).

3. Data stored on your device

So that you can pick up a career, the app saves the following locally, in its private space on the device:

The app does not send this information to any server, to the developer or to a third party, and does not sync it through iCloud. To remove it from the device, delete a career from within the game or delete the app — see the Privacy choices page.

If you use your device’s backup (iCloud or computer), these files may be included in your backup. It belongs to your Apple Account; the developer has no access to it.

4. Race map

The map of races across Europe is displayed with Apple Maps: to draw the map background, the device downloads it from Apple’s servers. The app does not ask for your location and sends no game data to Apple; these exchanges are covered by Apple’s privacy policy.

5. In-app purchases

The purchase of the full game goes through StoreKit, Apple’s payment system. Payment, billing and validation of the purchase are handled by Apple.

To check your access to the full game, the app reads technical information about the transaction through StoreKit, such as the product purchased and whether the purchase is valid. It never receives your name, your address, your payment method or your Apple Account sign-in details.

Processing carried out by Apple is covered by Apple’s privacy policy.

6. The jackybejean.app website

This website is made of static pages. It sets no cookies, uses no audience measurement tool and has no forms.

Three points for transparency:

7. Email support

If you write to me, I necessarily receive your email address and the content of your message. They are processed only to answer your request, on the basis of my legitimate interest. They are accessible to the publisher and to his email provider, are neither sold nor used for commercial purposes, and are deleted no later than twelve months after the last exchange.

8. Children

The game is rated 9+ on the App Store (A10 in Brazil). The app creates no account and collects no personal data, including from minors.

9. Your rights

The GDPR gives you rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability over your personal data.

In practice, the app does not send any personal data to the developer. Requests to the publisher can therefore concern the emails you have sent him and, to the extent he has access to it, the website’s technical data. To exercise your rights, write to contact@jackybejean.app — reply within one month.

You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French supervisory authority, or with the data protection authority of your country.

10. Transfers outside the European Union

The app does not send any personal data to the developer. Processing carried out by Apple for the map and for purchases is covered by its own privacy policy. For the website and email support, the Google Fonts service and the email provider may involve processing outside the European Union.

This policy is a translation; in case of doubt, the French version prevails.
