Support
A question, a bug, a purchase to restore.
Write to contact@jackybejean.app. You will usually get a reply within three working days.
To speed things up, please include in your message:
- your iPhone, iPad or Mac model and your iOS, iPadOS (Settings → General → About) or macOS version (Apple menu → About This Mac);
- the version of the game, shown at the bottom of its title screen;
- what you were doing when the problem occurred, and what you expected instead.
Restoring a purchase
After changing device or reinstalling: the game’s Settings screen → Restore my purchase. The purchase is tied to your Apple Account, not to the device; you will not be charged a second time.
Requesting a refund
Purchases and refunds are handled by Apple. To request a refund, go to reportaproblem.apple.com.
Lost career
Careers are saved locally on the device and no copy is kept by the publisher. Deleting the app erases the game’s local data; a copy may still exist in an iCloud or computer backup. If a career has disappeared without you deleting the game, write to me: that’s a bug, and I want to know about it.
Deleting a career
On the game’s home screen, touch and hold the career you want to delete, then confirm. Deletion is permanent: the career is not kept anywhere else.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need an internet connection? Not to play. A connection is used to display the background of the race map, provided by Apple Maps, and to buy or restore the full game through the App Store.
Do I need an account? No. There is no account, no sign-up and no login.
Is the game free? The download is, and the free version lasts until your fifth finished race: 5K, 10K and short trail races, with one save slot. A one-time purchase, with no subscription, unlocks the full game: every distance up to ultras, races across Europe and four save slots. It picks up the same runner, right where they stopped. The price is the one shown on the App Store. You can buy it from the game’s Settings, by tapping a locked save slot, or when the free version ends.
Can I buy gems? No. The gems that give access to the temple races are earned by finishing qualifying races, never with money. The game contains no ads and no virtual currency to buy.
Are my careers synced between my devices? No. The game does not use iCloud to sync careers. A career stays on the device where it was started, subject to that device’s backups managed by your Apple Account.
Is the game available on iPad and Mac? Yes, on both: the purchase is universal. Download the game from the App Store on iPhone and iPad, from the Mac App Store on Mac, and the purchase is valid on all three.
Is the game a training plan? No. Le dossard is a game: training choices are for your character, not a real-life training plan.
Are the races real? No. The races, their names and their courses are made up, even when they are inspired by real places.
